WhatsApp, the popular messaging platform, has rolled out a new feature called 'Message Drafts' for both iOS and Android.
This update enables users to easily manage unsent or incomplete messages.
When users leave a message unfinished, a green ‘Draft’ label appears next to it in the main chat list, making it easy to spot and continue where they left off.
The drafts will be prominently displayed at the top of the chat list, ensuring quick access. This helps users resume conversations seamlessly if they were interrupted.
How the Message Drafts Feature Works
The draft indicator automatically appears on unsent messages, keeping users organized and saving time.
According to WhatsApp’s announcement, this feature will be available globally in the coming days.
Mark Zuckerberg, Meta’s CEO, described the feature as a "needed improvement" to enhance WhatsApp's functionality.
India, WhatsApp’s largest market with more than 500 million active users, will soon receive the new feature.
In addition, WhatsApp has been prioritising user safety, banning over 65 million accounts globally in 2024, including 12 million accounts in India.
